What have you been up to since you graduated?

After graduation from Robert E. Lee, I attended Oklahoma City University on a basketball scholarship. I got to play for a legendary coach, Abe Lemons, and played in two NCAA championships making it to the "Sweet 16" in 1965. After college I was accepted to Baylor Dental School and graduated in 1972. It was there I met my wife, Susie, where she was in a graduate nursing program. We celebrate our 54th anniversary in August of 2023 I was accepted into a post graduate program in the Army and served until 1975. After separating from the army I moved to Austin to set up my private practice. I sold my practice in 2008.and retired fully in 2011. To keep out of trouble, I have been working as a dental consultant with Medicaid part time since 2012.
We relocated to San Antonio in 2021 to be closer to our Daughter and family. We enjoy our Lake home in Horseshoe Bay, traveling, and spending time with our Kids and grandkids. It is nice to be back in San Antonio after all these years.

Our daughter, Karen, married a MacArthur graduate and lives in San Antonio with her husband and three boys.
